Track Quality by Campaign
You are running multiple ad campaigns and want to see which ones bring quality traffic and which ones bring fraud.
Preparation: Set Up Sub-Parameters
In the integration settings, configure sub-parameters to pass campaign data with each visit:
| Parameter | What to pass | Example |
|---|---|---|
| sub1 | Campaign ID | campaign_123 |
| sub2 | Placement ID | site_456 |
| sub3 | Creative ID | banner_789 |
How to pass them
How exactly you pass sub-parameters depends on your ad platform. Typically this is done through URL macros or tag parameters.
Analysis: Group by sub1
Go to Statistics and add a grouping by sub1 (if you pass the campaign ID in sub1). The table will show a list of all campaigns with metrics:
- Number of visits
- Good Rate — the share of clean traffic
- GIVT Rate / SIVT Rate — the share of fraud
Sort by GIVT Rate in descending order — campaigns with the highest fraud will appear at the top.
Drill Down: Second Level
Add a second grouping level — for example, by sub2 (placement). Now you see a hierarchy: campaign > placement. Expand the problematic campaign to find the specific placements that are sources of fraud.
Save the Report
Once you have configured the desired groupings and filters, click Save — the report will appear in the Report Browser. Pin it for quick access.
