What is Adsafee

Adsafee is a service that analyzes traffic on your website and determines which visits come from real people and which come from bots, click fraudsters, or other sources of fraud.

Why you need it

If you buy advertising traffic, part of your budget inevitably goes to low-quality visits: bots click on ads, competitors engage in click fraud, and fraudulent publishers generate fake clicks. Adsafee helps you see the scale of the problem and take action.

How it works

Visit -> JS tag collects data -> Analysis -> Classification (Good / GIVT / SIVT) -> Action
  1. Collection — A JavaScript tag on your site collects the browser fingerprint, on-page behavior, and device and network characteristics
  2. Analysis — The system checks the visit against a set of rules and models
  3. Classification — The visit receives a label:
ClassMeaning
GoodA real user with a genuine browser and natural behavior
GIVTInvalid traffic identified by obvious signals
SIVTSophisticated fraud masquerading as real users

What is GIVT

GIVT (General Invalid Traffic) is traffic with obvious signs of fraud:

TypeDescription
CrawlersSearch bots, scrapers, and other automated programs
Click Rate LimitRepeated click patterns that exceed the integration policy
Device SpoofingHigh-confidence browser or device spoofing

What is SIVT

SIVT (Sophisticated Invalid Traffic) is more complex fraud that is harder to detect:

TypeDescription
Device SpoofingProbable browser or device spoofing based on cross-validation
Network ContextHosting-like and proxy-like infrastructure that can be used in custom rules

What the system can do

After analyzing a visit, depending on the configured rules, the system can:

ActionWhen to use
Flag as GIVT / SIVTFor monitoring — you see the fraud in statistics
Redirect to a traffic back URLSend fraudulent traffic back to the source
Show a challengeVerify the visitor with an interactive test (similar to Cloudflare)
Flag as cleanWhen you are confident the source is valid
